8.2. Reskinning the button

With the new template document created, the reskinning phase is really no different from any other design exercise in Fireworks. We're just going to update artwork in the control-specific layers that we're interested in (in this case the Button_state layers)and export. Since this chapter is more about how to skin than how to create a highly polished skin, we're going to focus on getting you through the steps rather than on the details of artistry. We'll show you how to quickly apply some of the default styles that ship with Fireworks CS4 so you can create your first custom Flex skin.
