7.4. Creating the animation states

With all of the objects still selected, open the States panel and click the Distribute to States icon in the lower-right corner (it looks like an arrow pointing right into a filmstrip).

And with that, we have an animation that morphs a dark gray polygon in the lower right of the canvas into a medium gray ellipse in the upper left of the canvas.

Preview the animation using the controls in the lower-right portion of the document window. It looks pretty decent considering we only spent a few minutes creating it, but it would look much better if there wasn't a very noticeable skip in the loop from State 7 to State 1. We can remedy this by creating a seamless loop using a couple of built-in Fireworks commands and ...
