SHADING

This chapter adds some color to your life! In Blender, almost anything can be colored—meshes, lights, environments, whatever—and they're all configured in a similar manner. You were introduced to shading in Chapter 3, when you shaded the mask to match the sign, and in Chapter 6, which covered the world background color and textures. This chapter focuses on compositing shading, which is a subset of all possible shading.
