7. No Crease, One Crease
It is easy to assume that a sheet with no creases or just one crease will offer very few possibilities for creative folding. It may even seem to be a preposterous idea.
While it is true that the possibilities for forms and surfaces increase with the number of folds, there is a surprising richness in using no creases or just one crease. The key to creating these forms is a non-origami technique called the ‘Break’, which induces curvature in the sheet.
