Preface
There are three aspects of this dictionary which we would like to cover in this preface: the scope of the dictionary, and its target readers; the layout of the entries; authors’ acknowledgement for the source of some of the material.
We anticipate that the readers of this dictionary will either be relative newcomers to telecommunications, who wish to have a reference at hand to look up terms which they meet during their study or work, or telecommunications engineers who are specialists in a given area and wish to have information on a wider range of topics.
