The Greatest Trick of All is to make your Menus look good.

That pretty much surmises my philosophy for DVD creation. Spend the time to get the Menu right, choose your fonts carefully, play with the image to see what can be done, do all the crazy effects you ever wanted to, or just have a plain still sitting there looking at you. You decide.

Television commercials are designed to catch your attention.

So is the case with Menus.

It doesn’t matter how you do it so long as you don’t make the viewer want to switch off the Television.

Lead the viewer to the content and their attention will focus on the DVD itself and the authoring process will be transparent ...
