Initial Setup
If you have just opened DVD Studio Pro for the first time you will be given the choice of selecting the mode in which you wish to work.
Select Basic for the moment, as this is the easiest mode to get started with. You also need to select the video standard you are working with. If you are in the USA, Canada, or Japan you need to set the video standard to NTSC. If you are in Europe, Australia, or much of Asia then PAL is the dominant format.
