THE ENTRY/EXIT REVIEW

Always conduct an “entry review” of each stock before buying. Also, whether it is because of a soft stop being triggered or a profit exit flashing a sell, always undergo a routine “exit review” with each stock before exiting.

Review charts in all three time frames. This will confirm the signal. By doing so, you may notice that even though the stock set-up looks good, the broad market may be deteriorating.

For exits, from time to time, you will notice the deeper consolidation on a 30-minute chart but a bullish divergent double bottom with a false breakout forming on the daily chart. This may be an indication to pull the protective stop and embrace a reversal that your executed stop would have otherwise helped fuel.
