About the Author
Dr. Stephen Morris was born and raised in Blackfoot, Idaho. He spent many of his summer days with his dad and brother fly fishing the famous Henry's Fork of the Snake River. In 1987, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University Dental School, and, in 1989, he received his Masters of Science and specialty degree in Orthodontics from Northwestern University. From 1989 to the present, he has been practicing orthodontics full time in Boise, Idaho. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 1998.
Dr. Morris's interests in the financial markets began as a part-time trader in 1998. In 2008, he joined SpikeTrade.com, a group of 20 professional and semiprofessional traders involved in a weekly competition. In 2010, he won an unprecedented first place for each quarter of the year in both points and equity. He enjoys teaching and speaking to various investment groups and, in his spare time, loves to fly fish different streams around the world. Dr. Morris has been married to his wife, Michelle, for 31 years. They are the proud parents of three children.
