Choose a platform
We’ll this is a book about Entity Framework, so of course that part of the platform is certain. But what will you use for your development platform?
We’ve used a Windows Console application for all the samples in the book, but now it’s time to build some “real” UI. Entity Framework can be used with any .NET user interface platform, from WinForms to Windows 8 Store apps, provided you’re prepared to jump through a sufficient number of hoops. (Silverlight for Windows Phone and Windows 8 Metro are going to require a data service, for example.)
