Creating reports

Writing the report may seem like crashing headlong into a brick wall. Where to start? How to format? What to include? We'd like to offer some suggestions on how to improve the way you write reports by focusing on format flexibility (customizing your report to your audience) and the ease and speed of reading (do not force your audience to work for the information you're trying to convey).

Begin by thinking of the executive summary as a brief report that can be read in isolation. Make it engaging by beginning with good quotes and including positive discoveries.
