User stories

A breakdown of each task the user wants to accomplish while interacting with the product. It is good to remind the team of the motivations that leads the audience to use each of the features of the product, as well as the way they will go about doing it.

Usually, the tasks to be performed by the team are written in user stories format, or simply stories. These are requests for value items for the project that is being developed and it contains three pieces of important information:

  • Why it is important that the system has this functionality
  • What kind of user benefits more from this functionality
  • Objectively, what the software does
