The importance of colors

Within accessibility, color may be one of the easiest aspects to address, and yet one of the most neglected. The main reason is because the choice of colors is often restricted to an aesthetic decision on the part of the visual designer. Even the marketing department might have a big say in this, as well, and they tend to optimize for conversions rather than accessibility. It would be good for websites to try and get UX and marketing to work together. A more accessible website is equal to more engagement and ultimately more conversions.
