ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Frank J. Fabozzi, PhD, CFA, CPA, is the Frederick Frank Adjunct Professor of Finance at Yale University’s School of Management and a consultant in the fixed income and derivatives area. He is a Fellow of the International Center for Finance at Yale University. From 1986 to 1992, he was a visiting professor of finance at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He is on the board of directors of the BlackRock complex of funds and the Guardian Life family of funds.
Dr. Fabozzi has edited and authored many acclaimed books. Three of his books are co-authored with the late Professor Franco Modigliani, recipient of the 1985 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Science. He is co-editor of The Theory and Practice of Investment Management with Dr. Harry Markowitz, co-recipient of the 1990 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Science.
He is the editor of the Journal of Portfolio Management and an associate editor of The Journal of Fixed Income, The Journal of Structured Finance, and Risk Letters.
In 1994, Dr. Fabozzi received an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters from Nova Southeastern University. In November 2002, he was inducted into the Fixed Income Analysts Society Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was established in 1995 to recognize the lifetime achievements of outstanding practitioners in the advancement of the analysis of fixed-income securities and portfolios.
