Chapter . I honestly don’t care about your problems . . .

A new restaurant opened in our local town. There was lots of publicity about the fantastic décor and background to the business. It was going to be the best place to eat and it would bring customers from the city. Fine dining like this on our doorstep was going to be wonderful.

Understanding that sometimes great restaurants take a couple of weeks to get into the swing of things, we avoided the opening night and the month which followed. So when the night of our booking arrived we were really looking forward to going out.
