The Fuck-Up…

First-time directors often think they need to worry about EVERYTHING: where’s lunch, is the wardrobe going to be ready on time, is the truck fixed yet, is my crew happy, am I going over budget, did the dailies make it to the lab, and so on. They see the entire movie as their baby and that they (like many first-time parents) must control everything that influences their child. However, even new parents eventually learn that while it might be their baby, it is going to take a village to raise it.
