The Fuck-Up…
Set photographers are hired to take photographs that will be used to help promote the film to distributors and audiences. Some new filmmakers are quick to cut them from the budget because they view the movie as the highest priority and set photographers are not involved in the actual making of the movie itself. However, anyone who has been through the process of delivering a film to distributors will tell you this is a big mistake—one that may prevent your film from getting distributed.
