Case Study: Distributed and Unified Technology Solutions in a Community Network

We have so far studied multiple technology solutions and are now in a position to evaluate these through an example of a first mile access network business case. Before we actually build the business case, let us first examine two business models carefully and then choose the most appropriate model for our consideration. The first business model is what we will term the Conventional Distributed Model (CDM), while the second model, can be called the Cumulative Comprehensive Model (CCM). The CDM can be applied by an ILEC also, so it is not specific to a community or intelligent city network but more of a first mile access network model case.
