Self-esteem is how you feel about yourself. You either like yourself or you do not. If you do not like yourself, it will be very difficult for you to trust yourself enough to listen to your intuition, which will tell you what your passion is. Even if you do listen to yourself, if you have low self-esteem, you probably will not risk acting on your knowing. You will not feel you are “worth it.”

Like a three-legged stool, high self-esteem is supported by three things. First, you need a feeling of “I can,” or a sense of competence.
