About the author

Jane Inman is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals and has worked in a number of different library sectors since qualifying as a Librarian in 1974. She has worked in public, academic, school and special libraries which has given her a breadth of experience. Most recently she has worked on the provision of an information service in a large local authority directorate within Warwickshire County Council. Jane has now moved into a wider role within the directorate managing a team with responsibility for public-facing communications through the web and printed material which involves advising on the directorate’s approach to communicating with its customers.
