About the CD-ROM

This appendix includes information on the contents of the CD that accompanies this book. For the latest and greatest information, please refer to the ReadMe file located at the root of the CD.

What's on the CD

This CD contains full working versions of all the models discussed in the book, along with the data used in the models and a few other Excel and VBA examples. The workbooks are organized in folders by chapter, and the workbook for each model is labeled with chapter and model numbers and a brief model description, all of which tie to the book. (There are no folders for chapters that do not contain any models or examples,) Three additional workbooks contain the material presented in the appendices in the book.

There are instructions throughout the book that will guide you through the customization of each model to suit your specific investing needs.

System Requirements

• A computer with a processor running at 120 Mhz or faster.

• At least 32 MB of total RAM installed on your computer; for best performance, we recommend at least 64 MB.

• A CD-ROM drive.

NOTE; Many popular word processing programs are capable of reading Microsoft Word files. However, users should be aware that a slight amount of formatting might be lost when using a program other than Microsoft Word.

USING THE CD WITH WINDOWS

To install the items from the CD to your hard drive, follow these steps:

1. Insert the CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive.

2. The CD-ROM interface will appear. The interface provides a simple ...
