ON-BOARDING IS THE PROCESS of bringing a new-hire up to speed as an employee of your organization. There is no one right way to do this. Large organizations tend to have formal structures for on-boarding, such as an orientation training class, while small organizations tend to be less formal and may limit on-boarding to walking the new hire around to meet everyone in the office.
