About the author
Philippe Debroux is a Belgian citizen who has lived in Japan since the 1970s. He has a PhD in applied economics from the Free University of Brussels and holds a MBA degree from INSEAD (France). He worked in several Belgian and Japanese companies before beginning his academic career in the mid-1980s.
He is currently professor of international management and international human resource management at the Faculty of Business Administration of Soka University in Japan. At the same time he teaches on a regular basis on human resource management in the MBA program of Hanoi Economic University; on Japanese management in Rennes University (France) masters’ program; and on international management in the masters’ program of Chuo University ...
