Statement of Purpose

The Emotional Competency Inventory 2.0 (ECI) is an instrument designed to assess the emotional competencies of individuals. It is based on emotional competencies identified by Daniel Goleman in Working with Emotional Intelligence (1998), as well as competencies from Hay/McBer's Generic Competency Dictionary (1996) and Richard Boyatzis's Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ).

Target Audience

The ECI is appropriate for use with leaders at all levels, from senior executives to front-line managers.
