THE ANSWER? IT’S ALL RELATIVE

By turning to the related term frequency and focusing on its more scientific definitions, we come much closer to understanding what frequent feedback really means. At first glance, these definitions seem to have little to do with feedback. For example:

—  The number of cycles per second of an alternating electric current

—  The number of complete oscillations per second of an electromagnetic wave

—  The number of sound waves per second produced by a sounding body

But together, they draw attention to the relative nature of frequency, the fact that it differs from case to case; they also convey that frequency is measurable.
