SUMMARY OF FAST PROCEDURE

A brief description of the 13 steps of the FAST Creativity procedure is provided in this chapter without any project details to distract from the process. If a particular step needs clarification, search for examples in Chapters 8 through 13. Each step is easy to locate in those chapters as a heading identifies where each step starts.

STEP 1. SELECTING A PROJECT

Step 1 of the procedure is to select a subject or project to analyze. The five methods for doing this are listed in Figure 15.1.

The questions for Methods 3, 4, and 5 are shown in Figures 15.2, 15.3, and 15.4, respectively.
