angle: the focus of the story; what it is that you want to tell the viewer. Topics are not angles. Topics can have many different angles. (Chapters 4, 6)

archive: pictures and sound that were previously used but are relevant to your current story as file footage. (Chapter 4)

aspect ratio: 3:4 is normal TV. NDTV is 3:5.3

A-V script: the conventional design for a script with audio on the right side and video on the left. (Chapter 6)

A-V sound bite: natural sound with pictures (Chapters 13, 59)

A-V tag: using natural sound and pictures to end a story after the journalist has signed off. (Chapter 6)
