Introduction

The notion of adding a few fallacies to this book kind of grew on me. I started out with the idea that in the field there were far too many fundamental facts that had been either forgotten or never learned by the people who should know them. And I wanted to contribute those facts, in some fairly succinct and accessible manner, to the field.

But as I searched for those facts and the controversies surrounding them and their sources, I kept running into what I considered fallacies.
