Chapter 22. Using Facebook on the Go
Most people connect with Facebook from their personal computers. But that isn’t the only way to connect; you can also use your mobile phone to post status updates and read posts in your News Feed. Connecting in this fashion helps you keep in touch while you’re on the go—or just waiting in line at the supermarket.
You can connect to Facebook from any mobile phone using simple text messages. But if you have a smartphone, like the Apple iPhone, you can use phone-specific Facebook applications to gain access to most of Facebook’s features on the go. Even if all you have is basic Web access (no Facebook app), you can still connect to the Facebook site via your phone’s web browser.
