While train and bus connections are available between major cities, it is more economical and convenient for a family to rent a car. Florida is an easy state to navigate, with excellent roads and good signage. Larger cities have public transportation and many towns offer sightseeing trolleys, but the routes are limited and having a car will allow you to be flexible.
