About the Authors
Iris R. Firstenberg, PhD, holds a joint appointment at UCLA as an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Psychology and the Anderson School of Management. Since 2005, she has been teaching a hugely popular course for MBA students, titled “Thinking on Your Feet.” Iris teaches seminars on leadership development and innovative thinking for many Fortune 500 organizations, and she is coauthor with Moshe of two prior books.
Moshe F. Rubinstein, PhD, is an internationally renowned authority on problem solving and creativity in organizations. He is a professor emeritus at the UCLA School of Engineering and Applied Science and advises many major corporations on innovation. He has won numerous teaching awards and has written ten books, which have been translated into several languages. In January 2000, Moshe was named one of the top 20 professors of the century at UCLA.
