Back in April of 2009, I celebrated the publishing of my first book in the From Snapshots to Great Shots series and shared copies with many of my friends. Everyone was so supportive, but I always remembered what my friend Mike told me. He said that the book would work as a great photography-learning tool even if I took out all the camera-specific stuff. I always kept that in the back of my mind, with the thought being that one day I would take all the good stuff from the books I was writing and create something for all the folks out there who didn’t happen to own one of the cameras that I happened to be writing about.
