Matt Siber took this photograph on Fuji Provia 100 film and, after scanning his negatives, manipulated the image in Photoshop. He eliminated all the lettering and constructed a complementary image consisting only of signage, using Photoshop’s Text and Pen Tools. He says, “With the removal of all traces of text from the photographs, the project explores the manifestation of power between large groups of people in the form of public and semi-public language.
