In Chapter 6, we introduce a number of techniques for taking apart and understanding game clients. Each such technique is interesting in its own right, from interposing between the game software and the video rendering system, through injecting new memory values and DLLs, all the way to monitoring and adjusting game-related network traffic. However, a collection of techniques like those described in Chapter 6 is always most powerfully applied in concert.
