Using Oracle Collections and References

In Chapters 9 and 10, we discussed how to query and modify Oracle objects in JDBC either as weakly typed Struct (or its Oracle implementation STRUCT) objects or as strongly typed custom classes generated by JPublisher. In this chapter, we will continue the discussion for Oracle collections and references. I provided a brief introduction to Oracle collections in the section “Collections (Nested Tables and Varrays)” of Chapter 8 of this book.
