Launching an Amazon ECS container instance

You can launch an Amazon ECS container instance from AWS Management Console, and most of the steps are the same as when you are creating an Amazon EC2 instance. You should change a few things or modify them to make your instance an Amazon ECS container instance.

Once you launch this instance you can successfully run the tasks.

From the AWS Management Console, you can select Launch Instance. On the Quick Start page you can select Community AMIs and search for the amazon-ecs-optimized AMI. It will provide you with more than 100 instances. You can select the amzn-ami-2017.09.i-amazon-ecs-optimized latest AMI.
