You can perform administrative tasks on instances, such as updating or installing software and accessing diagnostic logs by connecting to the instance using SSH. Your container instance must meet the following pre-requisites to connect the instance using SSH:
- To connect using SSH, your instance needs external network access
- Your instance must launch with a valid Amazon EC2 key pair
- SSH uses port 22 so you must open this port in your security group to connect the instance
