Outlook VBA Hello World

I am going to start with something really simple, such as the reoccurring "Hello World." However, I have decided to add a little twist to this really boring app and get Outlook to greet me by name—verbally, when I start the application. It's always so nice when your computer greets you at the door, isn't it?

Before I show you some code, I want to point out that you must have Direct Speech installed before attempting to run this code. I use Windows 2000, which has Direct Speech installed by default. If you don't have Direct Speech installed, you can substitute the speech with message boxes.

Before you begin, you must ensure that your project knows how to reference the Direct Speech COM components. I'll talk more about this ...
