In this chapter, I discussed the process of Outlook forms development. Outlook forms development is typically the bulk of the development most organizations experience with Microsoft Outlook. As you can see, you can develop a wide range of customized solutions using Outlook forms.

Not only can you create your own forms, which are based on built-in Outlook forms, but you can extend your forms using VBScript. VBScript can be used to enhance your forms' functionality by supporting the form directly by adding additional control over data and controls. It can also be used to provide links into other COM applications that reside locally or remotely within MTS.
