Using VBScript in Outlook Forms

Sometimes, it is not enough to simply capture the information in fields and controls on your form. Sometimes, you need to control the form and manipulate data programmatically. In walks VBScript to the rescue.

As I have already discussed, VBScript is a scaled-down version of Visual Basic that you can use in your forms to control objects, folders, items, and controls within a form, as well as write procedures that respond to events that occur within a control or a form.
