Fields and Controls

To really capture the data you need and display it in a way that makes sense, we need to discuss how you can use fields and controls in your forms. You probably are familiar with these, but let's briefly review them.

A field is simply a place where you can store information in a folder. The subject line of a message is classified as a field; so are the message body and list of recipients. You can easily add fields to any folder to allow you to capture the data you need. Controls, on the other hand, are constructs that you can use on your forms to help gather and present data.
