Collaboration as a Concept

You might have noticed while reading this chapter that I don't spend any time talking about design and implementation techniques or even about products that could be used to create such solutions. I want you to understand that collaboration isn't about a specific product. Collaboration isn't Lotus Notes. Collaboration isn't Outlook. And collaboration isn't Exchange. When I talk about advanced corporate electronic collaboration, I am referring to the functionality you gain by creating such solutions—and as you have already seen, the solutions seem limited only to your imagination.
