Name

ISODD

Synopsis

Use ISODD (an Analysis ToolPak function) to look at the specified reference and return a value of TRUE if the number is odd, or a value of FALSE if the number is even. If the value is not numeric, the function returns a #VALUE! error value.

To Calculate

=ISODD(Number)

Example

Figure 20-3 illustrates how to use ISODD to determine if the number in a cell is odd. Notice that when the function is used to check cells that do not contain numeric values, it returns an error value of #VALUE!, due to the fact that the function only deals with numbers.
