Synopsis

Use ISLOGICAL to look at the specified reference and return a logical value of TRUE if it is a logical value; otherwise, the function returns a value of FALSE.

=ISLOGICAL(Value)

Example

Figure 20-3 illustrates how to use ISLOGICAL to check a cell to see if it contains a logical value of TRUE or FALSE. You will notice in cell D10 that even though cell A10 contains a value of FALSE the function returns a value of TRUE because that is a logical value.
