Synopsis

Use DMIN to find the smallest number in a column of a database table that matches the conditions specified by the Criteria argument.

To Calculate

=DMIN(Database, Field, Criteria)

All three arguments are required for this function.

Example

Figure 17-2 illustrates how to use DMIN to find the least amount of sales dollars generated for a month by salesperson 145.
