Synopsis
Use
VARPA to find the variance in a list of
values based upon the entire population. If a value specified
contains the logical value TRUE
it is evaluated as
1. If a value contains text or the logical value
FALSE
it is evaluated as 0.
To Calculate
=VARPA(Value1
,Value2
, ...)
There must be at least one Value
argument
specified for this function.
Example
Figure 15-50 illustrates how to use VARPA to find the variance of a list of values for an entire population. Since the list includes two logical values, those values are evaluated as part of the variance.
