Synopsis
Use
STDEVA to estimate the standard
deviation by measuring how far the specified numeric values are
dispersed from the mean. A logical value of TRUE
is evaluated as 1. A logical value of FALSE or a
text value is evaluated as 0.
To Calculate
=STDEVA(Value1,Value2, ...)
There must be at least one Value argument
specified for this function.
Example
Figure 15-44 illustrates how to use STDEVA to find the standard deviation of a list of values. Since the list includes two logical values, those values are evaluated as part of the standard deviation.
