Synopsis

You can use ASINH to determine the inverse hyperbolic sine of a number.

To Calculate

=ACOSH(Number)
Number

This required argument must specify a numeric value.

Example

Figure 14-3 illustrates how you can use the hyperbolic functions. Since ASINH is the inverse of SINH, you will notice that the value that is returned by ASINH is equal to the value that was passed to SINH.
