Synopsis
Use this function to return
the number of seconds in a time value. The function returns a value
between 0 and 59. For example,
if the time is 3:45:15 PM, SECOND will return a value of
15.

=SECOND(Serial_Number)Example
This function is typically used to determine the second value of a time in another cell. The cell can contain either an actual time value such as 3:45:15 PM, or a serial number that can be converted to a time. Figure 13-6 illustrates how SECOND is used to determine the second portion of a serial number that is used to represent a time.
