Synopsis

The File → Exit option closes Excel and any open workbooks. If there are changes to a workbook that have not been saved, a message box prompts you to save the files before closing. You can also select the Close Window icon in the upper-right corner of the Excel window. This option works the same as selecting File → Exit.
